Ashkan Samadzadeh, DMD, MSD

Dr. Ashkan Samadzadeh received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1997. After completing his general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Samadzadeh practiced general dentistry for eight years.

He received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry from Boston University. Dr. Samadzadeh served as an attending dentist at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and was the Director of General Practice Residency and Assistant Professor of Dentistry at Seton Hall University.

He was awarded the Tufts University Merit Scholarship for 4 consecutive years for overall academic achievement. He has presented a number of research projects at the annual sessions of the International Association for Dental Research and the American Endodontic Association. He has also authored a research article published in the Journal of Prosthodontics.

A full time Endodontist with CCE, Dr. Samadzadeh volunteers his time as a Clinical Instructor of Endodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Samadzadeh is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Connecticut State Dental Association, and Seattle Study Club. He has received the Top Dentist Award from both Hartford Magazine and Connecticut Magazine. He resides in Farmington with his wife and three rescue dogs.
